SEE THE SLAVE - "SEE SLOVENIAN" SUCCESSION

These tribes live in the most remote and isolated and, despite all the changes over time in one way or another, have preserved their original and authentic folklore. They have a basic knowledge about Christianity. Some of them know only prayers and religious Muslim, but basically maintained their original tradition.
In this book there are two songs about Krishna, Vishnu, Siva, Orpheus, etc.. One of those songs about a town called Eleshnitsa, located in eastern Macedonia, Greece today:

La Nascita in Orfeo

"Brava krale ... si se moli:
Oi ti Boje, Boje Vishnu!
Ja si mi dai Boje,
to Staro edno vreme chedo
Lu Gu vide da si da si um on
Toi da si mi zeme nasledi ...

"Dete ... sha yunak with furka that nebetu,
sus si da Boga svirka Vishnu fail. Sova
nishanlie sha si dete moshtne Bode, sha
zaptisa zeme I planini Sita, da
with Bode purva krale that zemeta. "

staru dedu ne otreche Reche,
furkna gore that was still nebetu,
du with Vishnu fail Boga,
shto si pravi chuda that zemeta.

"Un Vecchio stava pregando re:
Oh, Dio Grande, Vishnu
concedimi Per favore, or Dio Un bambino
anziana Nella mia eta. In vederlo e

Dopo aver detto queste cose,

There is another interesting song about Orpheus, that due to the absence of his wife stayed with the broken heart at the passing of his beloved.
This song consists of 462 lines. Here we report only some of them:

Orpheus meets His wife, Dana
Orpheus was wondering why and how it is lost, and a voice from heaven said,
"Ni ta boga Klelia Siva
ya ta Klelia Visnu boga”…
“Vishnum Dana Defina
Defina mi trisuletna”…

… “Non è stato fatto dal Signore Siva,
ma è stato fatto dal Signore Vishnu,
… “Dana è diventata una servitrice di Vishnu,
servitrice per tre anni.”

Nonostante comprendesse questo, aveva un intenso desiderio di vederla, e cominciò ad offrire preghiere in questo modo:

“Vishnu Boje the
tebe sa Boje mole
that dumilevam na tebe! "
Orfei know molba moles
Vishnu mu molba Chue ...

"O, my dear Lord Vishnu
I'm begging you,
You are my only refuge!" Orfeo

humbly praying and listening to the Lord Vishnu

Vishnu mercifully fulfill its desire and raises him to his palace in the highest heaven.
Esistono altre canzoni interessanti riguardo Siva, Durga, Surya, Agni, etc.

Krishna is not mentioned in the songs on Orpheus, however, appears in the pages of Slavonic see under the name of Kolada, which means young or small Krishna, called Krusne, the young shepherd who becomes king of the earth.

Krishna on 60 lines in Volume 2 of the Slavonic See:

I Like To Give Myself A Wegie

disciple of Steven Rosen (Satyaraja Dasa)

Being a friend of many scholars who teach Hinduism and South Asian culture, sometimes I was asked to assume the role of guest lecturer to university students to expose my experiences in the Hare Krishna movement and the traditions of the East. Opportunity when it happens so tempting, I always hasten to explain the difference between a cult religion like Hinduism and Krishna Consciousness, which is the perennial philosophy ie the truth learning, which is the basis of all religious traditions. In India, this truth is called Sanatana-dharma that the soul is eternal. And this is very far from Hinduism today. Invariably I am asked to explain the origin of the Hare Krishna movement and this leads to a debate on the creation of the universe and the beginning of religion as we know it today. Because a question of the origins of a modern movement develops into a discussion about the most distant origins? Given my usual response to a student who wants to know when it started the Hare Krishna movement: If I had to take a point of time when the movement was born, I should say that started with the Catur-mukha Brahma, the designer of the universe has four heads, the first being created at the dawn of creation. This clears up a little 'things? course, since most people are not aware of the eternal nature of Krishna consciousness, and because of the lack of knowledge, identified with Hinduism, begins by explaining how the origins of Hinduism are shrouded in mystery and that its roots are in Sanatana-dharma. I explain that unlike other world religions, Hinduism can not be reported to a single founder, but in fact is a collection of religions of different traditions in il Vaisnavismo costituisce il nucleo. Lascio understand that in a sense I am allowing to get into this esoteric tradition. In fact all that and 'written in holy books, to be interpreted by a guru (spiritual teacher) true, because often the things you read contain many truths that escape the eyes of people do not fully realized in the consciousness of Krishna.Questo is the way where parampara, or disciplic succession, it works. I am introducing students to what I learned from Srila Prabhupada, who was instructed by his master, and so back to Brahma. The wisdom of this tradition has a long history and this is where the students want to learn more. I siti dove si è scavato all'inizio were on the Indus River in the north-west of the Indian subcontinent, which explains why this culture has been so named. At its greatest development, scholars suggest that in 2200 BC, the Indus civilization occupied an area larger than Europe. Yet what do we really know it? Actually very little. The most promising discovery includes an ancient form of writing, but it is completely incomprehensible. Of course, various theories are offered regularly: some say that writing is a form of the Aryan (Indo-Iranian or Indo-European), others propose to be a part of the Munda family of languages widely spoken in eastern India and related to some Southeast Asian dialects. And still others - the theory is perhaps the most popular of all - argue that it comes from the family of languages Dravidians of southern India. But no one knows the truth. The imagination runs without a brake on the possible ramifications of a careful deciphering. Today, after seventy years in which an infinite number of scholars have desperately done research on blind artifacts impaired, these are just fragments of a forgotten culture. Add to this the theory of 'Aryan Invasion *, now strongly put in doubt stating that the Indus Valley was violated by foreign invaders in sometime in the second millennium before Christ, and this makes it clear that the world of scholars have done little research on the origins of Hinduism.

knowledge from the inside TRADITIONAL
Given this lack of information, tell students that becomes more important to see that says that the Vedic tradition itself. The universe is repeatedly created and destroyed. At first, we learn, before time and space, c'è solo Visnu, l'essere primordiale favolosamente maestoso con quattro braccia, con lunghi capelli neri corvini ed una carnagione scura, meravigliosamente bella. Mentre è in questa condizione di riposo, immerso nelle acque, Egli comincia a respirare profondamente con respiri regular, and this manifests itself over time. Spend eons. Then, while still breathing, emanating from His divine body universes in the form of bubbles, which in turn expected to become innumerable worlds. Although these bubbles transcendental turn away from Him, they are not separated from His essence of existence. Indeed, he expands on several secondary forms of Vishnu, almost identical to your original image in cosmic sleep and penetrates each of them. Now in each universe, with all the basic materials in some form, he relaxes on the coils of a serpent with a thousand heads, Sesa, who cradle gently back and forth, preceding its primary act of creation. To achieve this goal, Visnu ago His belly button pop out a beautiful lotus that grows and flourishes in a wreath decorated with thousands of petals. On top of it, Brahma, the first created being, made its appearance in the world of three dimensions. He is the first creature Vishnu, chosen to create the rest. Brahma was born an adult, but sees only darkness. The sun has not yet been created, and even the moon. Anyone and anything around him. Look to the right, left, front and back. While looking intently in all directions, suddenly appear in place of his four heads. Even with this increased capacity, however, sees nothing and can not understand the world around him and void the purpose of his presence. He decides to go down the stem of the lotus hoping di risolvere il mistero della sua origine. Listening intently, I hear them again - ta-pa - and its path becomes a little 'clearer. The word means "austerity." From this then realizes that the Lord is sending a message: to serve the Lord in this function is so basic to collaborate in the creation, he is required to qualify as a deep meditation and to develop a deep sense of austerity. Now completely safe in his cradle of the lotus flower, sits with her legs drawn in yogic position, with your back straight, meditating on the task that awaits him. After a thousand years of heaven, Brahma's meditation is interrupted. Now he knows what to do and how. His intense concentration gave him a vision of the spiritual world, where lies her beloved Vishnu. Brahma for the boundaries between material and spiritual world fade away and he sees reality in all its beauty. Overwhelmed by the shape of the Lord, His nature and His glory, by your wonderful associates and his surroundings, Brahma composed hundreds of verses, which are then collected in a book known as Brahma-samhita . Then, regaining his composure, turns its attention to the task at hand. Offspring born from his mind that it has an impressive array of species to populate the planets, the waters and the skies. Of all the first sons of Brahma, Narada is the most expensive and perhaps most important in our current context. Brahma tells him the truth of the spiritual world and asks him to share with the multitudes who now populate the world. spend eons of Narada and the mission gets her greatest success when he delivered the message to Vyasa that puts in writing the Vedic truth, collecting that knowledge was transmitted orally for centuries. Vyasa Veda takes the only original and divides it into four parts for easier understanding. Then, to give the essence of Vedic truth that it was not clear in previous works, fill out the Mahabharata and the Puranas . I commend each of these works to scholars of perfect training and they in turn teach the texts to their disciples and the disciples of the disciples. This will merge their schools of Vedic thought. These, of course, eventually give rise to Hinduism as we know it today. Succession disciplic esoteric continue to transmit the essential core of Vedic truth. disciplic One of these sequences is from Brahma to Narada to Vyasa and down to the generation of Srila Prabhupada, Founder-Acarya of the Hare Krishna movement. Shiva, the devas whose task is the destruction of the universe, is the founder of a succession disciplic known as Rudra- sampradaya . Laksmi, the goddess of fortune and wife of Vishnu, he founded yet another. And the four Kumara, sons of Brahma who practice celibacy, yet another. disciplic These four sequences are organized respectively by Madhvacarya, Visnusvami, Ramanuja and Nimbarka, the highest among the great teacher-saints of medieval India.

At this point, students feel that they are not exactly in line with their teachers of the university, there's something else at stake. "Yes," I say, "religious truth can not be understood with the intellect or simple word games brain. You can not understand it becoming experts in Sanskrit or by obtaining a degree in philosophy. These things are commendable and in some way may also be useful on the road. What matters, however, is a sincere heart, willing to submit to a spiritual teacher with reverence and attitude service, to learn from someone who knows - no one who has simply learned from books, but one who knows. To enter the truth of transcendence, one must be willing, like Brahma, to see beyond the darkness of submitting to the Lord. We can not meditate for a thousand years Brahma heaven as he did, but if we even once to call upon God with all sincerity, we get what we got Brahma: the knowledge of who we are and what we are made. This is the reason why the Hare Krishna movement emphasize the singing of maha-mantra Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna. Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. We beg the Lord to allow us kindly to serve Him: "O Lord, O energy of the Lord, please engage me in Your holy service." In the beginning was the Word , I tell them, and also to end our stay in the material world the Word plays a role. Summarize by explaining that there is much to learn from the story of Brahma. In addition to information about creating the cosmos, his story is a metaphor for man's spiritual journey. We are born in ignorance, which is like the darkness of the worlds not yet created by Brahma. Like him we must ask with determination our identity and our purpose. And when we hear the call of the Lord, we must be willing to meditate and perform austerity, to do whatever it takes to reach our goal. If we do so, we are part of the line of teachers that is born from Brahma. Finally, I tell them that even if this story of creation with mythological Vishnu and Brahma may seem, it gives us a sense of primal origins, the existence of another reality beyond the material sphere - the ultimate reality. In other words, it tells us of a more fundamental reality of the so-called real world and thus stands out very clearly from everything to do with mythology. And if we take into account not deciphered the writing of the Indus Valley and the many questions about the Aryan invasion theory, it becomes clear that there are absolutely no theories in contrast. There is only the truth, as revealed by scripture and by God himself.

Satyaraja Dasa, disciple of Srila Prabhupada, who has worked regularly at BTG has written over twenty books. He lives with his wife and daughter near New York City

* Theory Aryan invasion, which holds that the Vedas were brought to India from the outer regions of some nomads, perhaps Central Asia or the Arctic or the south-eastern Europe - none knows for sure - has been systematically dismantled in some recent studies scholars. HAITI: devastating earthquakes PORT-AU-PRINCE

A strong earthquake of magnitude 7 caused a disaster in Haiti. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF DEATHS

PORT-AU-PRINCE (AFP - DPA) - The chaos and despair continue to prevail in Haiti, the poorest country of the Americas in less than a day by the devastating earthquake of 7.0 degrees of the scale Richter, who has shaken the island in the Caribbean and caused a tragedy that, according to estimates, could have caused thousands of deaths. The earthquake devastated much of the infrastructure of Haiti and destroyed the presidential palace, ministry buildings and several major hospitals, as well as the UN headquarters. The earthquake, whose epicenter was on land just 16 km from Port-au-Prince, has been caused a great panic in the entire population, while a cloud of dust and smoke caused by the buildings that were crumbling got up in the sky. The power of this disaster was not yet clear this morning, despite the bleak landscape, buildings reduced to rubble, and tens of thousands of people homeless. You are not yet able to estimate the total amount of victims, but you can see thousands of people who have lost loved ones and hundreds of deaths, while powerful aftershocks still shaking this poor nation.
communications are disrupted throughout the country, particularly the Haitian capital has remained practically isolated and without electricity, and this makes it virtually impossible to get a true picture of the damage. The research teams are working to find survivors in the rubble. The airport in Port-au-Prince has been forced to cancel all its operations. The United States ambassador to Haiti said on CNN that this was "a great catastrophe." The government of Barack Obama is preparing to send a detachment of the first humanitarian aid to Haiti, other countries, like the neighboring Dominican Republic, Venezuela and the United Nations Peace Force, headed by Brazil, are preparing to send rescue teams .

Vedic what people say?

Question: Why we should accept the Supreme Lord or His power? - Answer: The rules of material nature are possible with the eyes of the Supreme Lord. These rules are the formation of clouds and subsequent precipitation, according to different seasons, earthquakes and rupture of the mountains, caused by heat and the ebb and flow of the tide, caused by friction. The heat energy and the force of attraction can never be independent. Consciousness is the creator, and energy, as the attraction, are the only standards or rules. Therefore, it is unreasonable to deny the creator, but it is reasonable to accept the rules. (Tattva-sutra 22).

How Can You Tell If A Monitor Is Hd

"Science is 'INADEQUATE' SAYS THE POPE

POPE BENEDICT XVI SAYS THAT SCIENCE SHOULD NOT BE self-sufficient and must be open to faith and REVELATION

ROME (ANSA - PL) - Catholics celebrated Sunday, January 6, the Epiphany with the appearance of the Magi to Bethlehem: Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar. During the Mass dedicated to the feast of Epiphany on the day of the Magi, in front of a moltitudine di partecipanti presenti in Piazza San Pietro, Papa Benedetto XV ha difeso l’umiltà e ha chiesto che la scienza e l’intelligenza aiutino a comprendere la realtà. Nell’Angelus Epiphany, the Pope stressed the need for science is not "viable" open to "further divine revelations and reminders." Humility and the ability to listen, says Joseph Ratzinger, were the principal qualities of the Magi, who are "models" of "genuine seekers of truth."

"The Magi, explained Benedict XVI, they were men of science in a very broad sense, observing the cosmos it was a great book full of signs and messages from God to man" . Their knowledge, therefore, very far from considering self-sufficient, was open to further divine revelations. " There was no shame to ask for instructions from the religious leaders of the Jews, "noted Joseph Ratzinger," they needed the guidance of the priests and scribes to know exactly where the place you wish to go, though they were wise men who studied the stars and knew the history of peoples. " "They could have said," Let us alone, we do not need anyone, "avoiding, according to the mentality of today, all the" contamination "generated by the marriage of science and the word of God Three Kings, said, listened to the prophecies and accepted. They, like real papers, were open to mysteries that occur in a surprising way, "said Benedict XVI. The pope also extended best wishes to the Eastern Orthodox celebrate Christmas today, according to the old Julian calendar, as opposed to December 25 for the Catholics.

Vedic SAY WHAT?

When any religion or faith is lacking in logic and philosophy, then it is sentimental material. The philosophy and logic with no understanding of God are simply a waste of time ... Thus, both should be combined, with the philosophy of religion. You should understand the principles with religious philosophy and logic. We are calling students and we are presenting the religion based on the philosophy and logic. We do not follow blindly. We have no dogmas. We have reason, philosophy and science. If you want to understand this Krsna consciousness on the basis of philosophy, logic and science, we are prepared to present. 'S ultimate goal, however, is to surrender to the Supreme.

THE BRAIN CAN FEEL THE PAIN OF OTHERS

Some people feel the pain of others when we observe a painful situation.

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - A study of the visual brain suggests that some people have physical reactions in the face of suffering other injuries. With images obtained from functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), researchers from the United Kingdom have found that people who say they feel the pain of others have, fi done several activities in brain regions sensitive to pain after seeing the lament of another person. The study, published Pain in the journal, could help to understand and perhaps treat the pain "functional." "Patients with functional pain feel pain without the presence of an illness or an injury that justifies it," said Stuart WG Derbyshire 's University of Birmingham. The Derbyshire and his colleague Dr. Jody Osborn lhanno shown to 108 college students various pictures of painful situations, such as athletes who suffer an injury and people who have been charged an injection. A third of them said they heard at least an emotional reaction and even a little pain at the site of injury. After this, the authors have done an MRI examination of IRM to 10 participants who reported pain and 10 who have not heard no reaction when he saw the pictures. Identifying changes in cerebral blood flow, the functional MRI can identify the areas most active during the response to a stimulus. 'S team has practiced the IRM to the participants as they watched images of people who felt pain, emotional pictures without pain or neutral images. Looking at the images of pain, all participants had activity in emotional centers of the brain, but those people who responded to others' pain, activity was more intense in areas associated with pain than the rest of the participants and their brain responses to emotional images only.

Dobbiamo feel happy seeing others happy, and sorry in front of their misfortune. This is the principle to follow. A Vaishnava, therefore, is really a perfect person, because it affects the sight of the misfortunes of others and feels happy when he sees that others are happy. The Vaishnava is para-duhkha-duhkha, that is always sad when he sees the conditioned souls in the unfortunate state of the material. Thus, the Vaishnava is always busy in preaching the process of Krishna consciousness throughout the world. "

In Europe there are a wide variety of Christmas symbols, such as dressing up as Father Christmas and decorate with mistletoe (Celtic mythology), which is a magic wand. Vedic SAY WHAT?

Once, in Melbourne, a group of Christian ministers came to visit me. They asked me: What you have idea of Jesus? ". I told them: "He's our guru. He is preaching God consciousness, so is our master. " The Ministers appreciate that. In truth, all those who are preaching the glories of God must be accepted as guru. Jesus Christ is one of these great personalities. We must not think in him as if it were an ordinary human being. The Scriptures say that all those who consider the spiritual master as an ordinary man, have a hellish mentality. If Jesus Christ was an ordinary man, he could not distribute God-consciousness.

ANTIBIOTICS IN LIVESTOCK: RISK TO HUMAN HEALTH

USE OF ANTIBIOTICS IN ANIMALS CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF DISEASE IN HUMAN

NEW YORK (ABC News) - Antibiotics keep animals healthy and make them grow quickly, but creating infectious bacteria resistant to drugs that can be fatal when transmitted to humans. In the U.S., industrially farmed animals are fed low doses of antibiotics and drugs in their daily diet. The animals bred for consumption, poultry, pigs and cattle are routinely fed antibiotics and other drugs intended to accelerate growth and prevent disease.
Recent economic analysis on the use of antibiotics in farm animals have challenged the myth that the drug offers significant economic benefits. In fact, the data show that improving the facilities where animals are raised (less overcrowding and more frequent cleaning) offers the same benefits as non-therapeutic use of antibiotics, which represents an unnecessary health risk pearl.

Vedic what people say?

"Humans who use their free will badly miss him, at least for a certain period of time. The Chapter 16 º of the Bhagavad-gita says that such people will have to take birth in lower species of life. This is why some souls in human form and should wear clothes of animal suffering, or the degree of enjoyment that will be in that animal life is directly related with what they have done in human life. Animals can not create new karma because they are completely controlled by their nature. Just as criminals incarcerated by the State, the souls who wear animal bodies bearing the karmic their sentences until again regain the right to a human form of life, where they will have another opportunity to act responsibly and make progress towards liberation.
